Capital provider Bloom Group has secured £300 million in a Series A finding round led Credo Capital Partners and funds managed by Fortress Investment Group LLC (Fortress), making the company the highest-funded revenue-based lending business in Europe.

Essex-based private investment group, Milbank Ventures, is to fuel its future growth plans with the support of a new funding deal facilitated by FRP Corporate Finance.

Launched in 2021 by Katya Dorofejeva, Kapaga provides a host of B2B payment services designed to serve this smaller but no-less globalised market of SMEs and start-ups. 

FluidOne, an invested company of UK mid-market private equity investor Livingbridge, has acquired Marathon Information Technology Services (Marathon), a Microsoft Gold Partner for Cloud Services Management. The transaction marks FluidOne’s fourth bolt-on during Livingbridge’s tenure following the acquisition of SAS Global Communications in December 2021, a managed SD-WAN network provider with a focus on enterprise customers, the acquisition of PSU Business Technology Limited (PSU) in October 2020, which included skills in IT Managed Services and Unified Communications, and an investment in Cyber Security Associates Ltd (CSA) in November 2020, a dedicated cyber security consultancy and managed services specialist. 

Foresight Group (Foresight), a listed private equity and infrastructure investment manager, has participated in a £1 million investment into dRISK, an autonomous vehicle (AV) testing and training company. The investment was led by Foresight Williams Technology (FWT), a joint venture between Foresight and Williams Advanced Engineering (WAE). Founded in 2014, by CEO Chess Stetson, dRISK is an AI company which promises to revolutionise AV efficiency and safety by training AVs to avoid unexpected real-world “edge case” scenarios.  dRISK’s solution exposes AVs to edge cases in a different way and in a fraction of the time. Enhanced Digital Group (EDG), a wholesaler of structured products in the digital asset space, has raised $12.5 million in a seed funding round led by WebN Group – a research-based incubator backed by Alan Howard – and Genesis.

Carbon-neutral fulfilment and warehouse provider Airbox has secured a £3 million investment from the independent asset manager BOOST&Co to expand operations and grow its customer base. The funding will be used to purchase a new 87,000 sq ft warehouse in Leighton Buzzard, which will significantly increase Airbox’s overall storage capacity from 45,000 sq ft to 222,000 sq ft, enabling the firm to support many more customers and brand owners with their fulfilment needs. Additionally, the new facility will create up to 200 new jobs in the local area.
