HarbourVest Partners, a global private markets asset manager, has appointed Bryce Klempner as a managing director. Klempner will be a member of the firm’s investment solutions and strategy teams focusing on new product innovation and strategic growth. Klempner was previously a partner at McKinsey and co-head of its Global Institutional Investor practice, advising pensions, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, and family offices, as well as private equity firms and other types of investors. He co-led McKinsey’s efforts in ESG and sustainable investment and led the firm’s global research on private markets. Prior to joining McKinsey, he worked at Goldman Sachs
Alantra, an independent global mid-market investment banking and asset management firm, is expanding its Italian operations with the hire of five senior professionals in its Investment Banking division. With these appointments, Alantra will further develop its Investment Banking capabilities in the country, which currently offers M&A, Debt and ECM services to mid-sized family-owned businesses, corporates and institutional investors. Blackstone has appointed Sara Clemens, former Chief Operating Officer at Twitch and Pandora, as a Senior Advisor. Clemens has over 25 years of experience helping lead high-growth companies at the intersection of streaming content and consumer technology. She will advise across Blackstone’s businesses, with a focus on Blackstone Growth (BXG), the firm’s growth equity investing platform. Sunner joins the firm from BGF, where he has worked since 2011, and led the investment team in the Midlands and Milton Keynes and was also a member of BGF’s Investment Committee. HRL Morrison & Co (Morrison & Co) has appointed Deion Campbell, former CEO of Tilt Renewables, as Operating Partner, to support its expanding investment portfolio in the renewable energy sector. Sophie Hubert has been named as the new Chief Commercial Officer for IQ-EQ France, to continue successful development in the region. With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Hubert is an expert in relationship management and business growth. Prior to joining IQ-EQ France, she held senior management roles for key players in the private equity sector and brings with her specialist knowledge in developing corporate and fund services for alternative assets. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.   Based in New York, Humanscale Healthcare is a market leader in next generation point-of-care solutions that advance caregiver and patient safety, engagement and satisfaction.  Capsa, a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners VI, is a provider of workflow products that increase efficiency and reduce costs, enhance medication security, and tighten inventory control across healthcare settings worldwide. 
Inflexion has appointed Jennie Galbraith to the new role of ESG Director. Galbraith, who brings over 20 years of experience in driving sustainability across a range of organisations, is an expert in sustainability and was a founding force behind the Institute for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, where she serves as Chair of the Board.  Most recently she served as Group Head of ESG at FTSE 100 company BAT where she was responsible for establishing its sustainability agenda and overseeing its development and implementation. She has also received a “Game Changer” award from HRH Prince Charles in recognition of her achievements
