Impact investor North Sky Capital (North Sky) has appointed Jay Cruz as a Senior Fund Accountant.
Cruz joins North Sky from Okabena, a Minnesota-based investment advisor serving families and non-profit organizations where he served as a Tax Manager. Previously he was a Tax Staff Accountant before rising in rank to Tax Manager at Baker Tilly, LLP. Jay holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and is a CPA.
Blackfinch has further bolstered its Ventures team with the appointment of EdTech entrepreneur and start-up investor Richard Harley.
Joining the business as a Senior Ventures Manager, Harley brings more than 12 years’ experience to the role having previously co-founded ScholarPack in 2011 – an award-winning analytics platform that allows teachers in schools to monitor the progress and wellbeing of pupils more effectively.
Harley is tasked with working across the Ventures portfolio to support company growth plans, help shape management teams, assist with fundraising, and manage risk.
Natixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM) has appointed Mabrouk Chetouane as Head of Global Market Strategy, Solutions, International.
In his new role, Mabrouk will lead and manage the global market strategy team responsible for developing the in-house macroeconomic, asset allocation and investment views within Natixis IM Solutions, which are essential to both clients and sales. He will report to Claire Martinetto, Head of Natixis IM Solutions, International and be based in Paris.

In this position, reporting to Christoph Schumacher, global head of real assets, Feliciano will oversee all aspects of the real estate business, including portfolio management, investments, asset management, and the integration of sustainability into both investments and operations. He will also be responsible for developing and implementing Manulife Investment Management’s global real estate investment strategy and increasing its capabilities on behalf of clients, including Manulife’s General Account.

The Global Private Capital Association (GPCA) has appointed Drew Guff, Managing Director and Founding Partner of Siguler Guff & Company, as Chair of the Board of Directors, along with new Board members Otavio Castello Branco, Senior Managing Partner and Board Member of Patria Investments, and Dr Karim El Solh, Co-Founder and CEO of Gulf Capital.
The GPCA Board has also appointed Nicolas Rohatyn, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Rohatyn Group (TRG), as Chair Emeritus.

Mayer Brown has appointed investment funds lawyer Matthew Griffin as a partner in the firm’s Corporate & Securities practice in London.
Griffin advises on fund formations and fund investments across illiquid and liquid asset classes in Europe and around the world for sponsors, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds. His practice also includes advising on co-investments, secondary transactions, carried interest arrangements and other complex fund related matters, including fund restructurings, continuation funds and liquidity events.

Floward has appointed its first independent board member, Nicholas Farhi, as it looks to meet international governance standards.

Pemberton, an alternative credit specialist, has appointed Olivier Renault as Portfolio Manager and Head of Risk Sharing Strategy.
Renault brings over 20 years of experience in structured credit, securitisation and bank capital finance. At Pemberton, he will be responsible for leading its new Risk Sharing Strategy, which sees Pemberton broaden its offering into yet another attractive area of alternative credit.
