O2 Investment Partners has appointed Andrew Faubel as the firm’s newest Jr Vice President.
Prior to joining O2, Faubel was with Crescent Cove, a TMT focused multi-strategy investment firm based in San Francisco.
Prior to that, he was with Evercore in New York and San Francisco, advising corporate clients on M&A and capital markets transactions, having begun his career at Bank of America in New York, advising institutional and ultra high net worth clients on investment strategy.
BTIG has appointed Alex Alden as a Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions and Financial Technology within its Investment Banking division.
Alden will oversee the firm’s efforts to deliver a complete set of advisory and capital solutions to BTIG’s financial services and financial technology clients globally. In his new role with the firm, he will be based in BTIG’s San Francisco office and report to Matt Clark, Global Head of Investment Banking.
Alden brings more than 25 years of industry experience to BTIG. Most recently, he was a Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions and Head of Financial
BayPine has promoted four individuals across its investment and operations teams. Tom O’Rourke has been promoted to Partner, Charles Rayner has been named Managing Director, Emily Osman has been named Vice President, and Erika Glass has been promoted to Director of Firm Administration.

Private equity firm LongRange Capital has appointed Michael Houy has joined the firm as a Senior Principal.
Houy spent nearly a decade as an investment professional at KPS Capital Partners, LP where he focused on control equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies. At KPS, his responsibilities included identifying, evaluating, executing investments, and then working with the management teams to enhance operating performance.
Prior to LongRange, Houy was a Partner at FC Crestone where he was responsible for co-managing the firm’s investment strategy of investing in operationally underperforming businesses.
