Alternative asset management firm Hayfin Capital Management (Hayfin) has appointed Marc Chowrimootoo as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager within its private credit business. In this role, Chowrimootoo will work closely with the investment team on sourcing and analysing investment opportunities, as well as portfolio management, across the firm’s private credit strategies.   Chowrimootoo brings a wealth of experience in leveraged finance as well as long-established relationships within the European private equity community, complementing Hayfin’s origination and portfolio management capabilities and its sponsor relationships. He joins from Goldman Sachs, where he was a Managing Director in the European Leveraged Finance

Keensight Capital, a private equity manager dedicated to pan-European Growth Buyout investments, has appointed Dr Uwe Gottschalk as an Operating Partner. Gottschalk was most recently Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of Lonza Group, the world’s largest company for biologics contract development and manufacturing, and Group Vice President at Sartorius Stedim Biotech, where he had global responsibility for bioseparation process technologies. Gottschalk will be joining Keensight Capital’s team of international Operating Partners.
