Dawn Capital (Dawn), a European specialist B2B software investor, has made a number of internal promotions as well as five new appointments to its team. Most notably Henry Mason has been promoted to Partner, making him the fourth partner promoted internally at Dawn.

Khalid Kahn has joined Aeon Investments, a London based credit-focused investment company, as a Managing Director in the firm’s investment team.
With more than 20 years of experience, Kahn joins Aeon from Federated Hermes International where he was Senior Credit Structurer in the Fixed Income Group responsible for managing structured credit portfolios comprising regulatory capital trades and CLOs.
As a senior member of the investment team, Kahn is responsible for originating and structuring new investments, and managing existing credit portfolios in commercial real estate and SME lending.
HIG Capital, a global alternative asset manager with over USD47 billion of equity capital under management, has added Dyice Ellis-Beckham and Sergei Schmidt to the firm’s Capital Formation Group.
Both Dyice and Sergei will be based in HIG’s New York office and responsible for capital raising and investor relations activities in North America.
Ellis-Beckham joins HIG as a Managing Director from Invesco’s Institutional Sales group, where she was responsible for business development and capital raising activities across Invesco’s platform.
Schmidt joins HIG as a Principal from Varde Partners, where he was a Senior Relationship Manager responsible for institutional business development
ATL Partners (ATL), a sector-focused private equity firm investing in aerospace, transportation and logistics, has made two promotions in its investment team. Allie Donini and Eli Exum have both been elevated to Vice President from Senior Associate.
Donini joined ATL in 2019 from Goldman Sachs where she was an associate in the Investment Banking Global Industrials Group. Exum joined ATL in 2019 from Lindsay Goldberg where he was an associate and worked across a variety of sectors including industrials and government services.
RFA, a specialist IT provider to the alternative investment sector, is continuing its plans for EMEA expansion by launching a presence in the French capital, Paris.
Global financial services private equity asset manager Apis Partners has added two new Partners to the Apis Group (Apis), who will broaden the group’s investment coverage.
Adam Battersby and Theofilos Kotridis will be based in the Apis’ London office and will focus on investment opportunities in Europe and the United States.
Apis Partners, which was co-founded by Matteo Stefanel and Udayan Goyal in 2014, invests in growth stage financial services and financial infrastructure businesses and has a strong focus on the sustainability and societal impact of its investments in sector-leading companies.
