Actis, a global investor in sustainable infrastructure, has appointed Neda Vakilian as Managing Director of Global Relationships within its Investor Development Group. Vakilian is based in London and will be responsible for the coordination and management of strategic investor initiatives, fundraising project management, and product development for Actis. Vakilian will report to Neil Brown, Global Head of the Investor Development Group and her appointment follows that of Charles Daulon du Laurens, Head of EMEA Sales, who joined Actis last September.

HRL Morrison & Co (Morrison & Co), a global infrastructure investor, has appointed Kate Mingay as a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately. Mingay brings three decades of extensive commercial and regulatory experience from across the private and public infrastructure sectors. She currently holds advisory roles with Ofgem and CAA, the respective UK energy and airport economic regulators and is an Independent Non-Executive Director for Wessex Water and a Trustee of the British Science Association. Mingay has a strong corporate finance background, having worked in executive director roles for UBS and Goldman Sachs earlier in her career, leading the UK financing teams.

Anna Humphrey has VC law firm Orrick as a partner in London focused on Employee Incentives and Executive Compensation. She is the 11th partner addition to Orrick’s London office since 2020.   Humphrey joins Orrick from Taylor Wessing and will be part of the firm’s tech practice, which has ranked No1 in Europe for 5-plus years, according to Pitchbook’s third quarter 2021 report.
