Evercore has appointed Benjamin Eldredge as a Senior Managing Director in the Industrials Advisory {practice of the firm’s Investment Banking business based in New York.
Eldredge joins from Credit Suisse, where he was a Managing Director and Global Head of Basic Materials & Distribution within the Investment Banking Division, will lead Evercore’s efforts across Building Products, Distribution and Basic Materials.
The Riverside Company, a global private investor focused on the smaller end of the middle market, has promoted Partner Jeffrey Gordon to Managing Partner and Co-Fund Manager of the Riverside Strategic Capital Fund (RSCF).
Gordon will work alongside Riverside Managing Partner George Cole to co-manage the fund. RSCF provides non-control capital solutions to sponsors and entrepreneurs, allowing them to retain control of all aspects of their business, including minority ownership of companies previously owned by other Riverside funds.
Alexander Curry and Oliver Richardson have been promoted to Partner, further strengthening Ogier’s Corporate team in Jersey.
Curry’s corporate practice focuses on equity capital markets, cross border M&A and private equity (PE) transactions. He acts for a number of the world’s leading PE houses and has particular experience in natural resources, real estate, healthcare and fintech sectors as well as providing Private Wealth and Family Office clients with structuring and investment advice.

Alternative investment firm Angelo Gordon has appointed Allison Binns, former Executive Director for Global Sustainability Research at Morgan Stanley, as Head of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and Sustainable Investing Strategies.
In this new role, Binns will lead and drive a best-in-class, strategic approach to ESG integration and opportunity across Angelo Gordon’s global platform. Binns will report to Josh Baumgarten and Adam Schwartz, Angelo Gordon’s co-Chief Executive Officers.
B Capital Group, a multi-stage, global technology venture capital investment firm, has appointed Sandi Sadek as Partner and Chief People Officer.
In the newly created position, Sadek will oversee the growing people organisation to drive internal people development initiatives for B Capital’s over 130 global employees. In addition, she will advise B Capital’s 120-plus portfolio companies on their leadership and talent initiatives, as well as focusing on helping B Capital to scale as it continues to attract diverse talent globally.
Arcesium, a global financial technology and professional services firm, has appointed Cesar Estrada has been appointed as the firm’s Private Markets Segment Head.
Estrada will be responsible for overseeing Arcesium’s application of its core competencies in data integration and harmonisation to the investment lifecycle of managers in private capital markets, including private equity, private debt, real estate and infrastructure. The new segment represents an expansion for Arcesium beyond its historical focus on supporting more than USD630 billion in assets of hedge funds, private equity funds, banks, and institutional asset managers.

Mariana Enevoldsen has joined JTC in Guernsey as a Client Services Director as the company continues to see strong growth in its funds business.
She brings extensive experience as a Director, specialising in private equity, listed funds and corporate secretarial functions having previously worked at a number of high profile companies.
International law firm Dorsey & Whitney has appointed Stewart Worthy as a Partner in in the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice Group in London at the beginning of December this year.
Stewart’s practice focuses on complex cross-border transactions, with a particular focus on US and APAC in-bound UK investments and English law deals in Central & Eastern Europe and Africa. He has a broad corporate and finance practice advising clients on acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, international securities offerings, strategic alliances, complex restructurings and other commercial transactions.
