ThinCats, an alternative finance provider to mid-sized SMEs, has added another experienced member to its London and SE regional team, James Osbiston, who joins from Clydesdale Bank.
Osbiston has over 12 years’ experience in financial services whilst working at both BNY Mellon and Clydesdale Bank, covering credit research, securitisation and business banking, with the last two years spent supporting the Origination of Acquisition and Leveraged Finance clients. Osbiston is a CFA charter holder and joins as Business Development Manager.
Osbiston will be responsible for the execution of lending transactions within the business community and private equity backed acquisitions, alongside the London
Daniel Repfennig has joined Polaris Private Equity as Director. Repfennig most recently held a position as Investment Director at private equity firm Solix and has been based in Copenhagen from 2018, overseeing several of the firm’s Swedish deals.
Prior to that, Repfennig worked at Nordic investment firm Ratos after beginning his career as a consultant with Arthur D Little AB in Stockholm. He holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and simultaneously completed his economics education from Stockholm University.

Settergren brings extensive experience and a successful track record from international private equity and investment banking to the team, and he will contribute greatly to Procuritas’s ability to source and execute the large number of deal opportunities present in the Nordic mid-market.
Prior to joining Procuritas, Settergren worked for eleven years at PAI Partners based in Paris, then Copenhagen and Stockholm.
