Churchill Asset Management (Churchill), a majority-owned affiliate of Nuveen focussed on originating, underwriting and managing middle market senior loan investments, has added Marissa Short and Robert Lin to its finance and operations team, which is led by Shai Vichness, Senior Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer.
The appointments are effective immediately.

European law firm Fieldfisher has appointed Matthew Williams as corporate partner and Co-Head of Energy and Natural Resources, based in London and Birmingham.
Williams joins the firm from Orrick, where he was Co-Head of their European Energy Practice.
From January 2019, Williams will help lead Fieldfisher’s power and renewables practices – areas in which he is an established and highly respected transactional lawyer. He has extensive experience in project finance, M&A, commodity trading and corporate restructuring, having worked with a wide range of clients including power generators, energy utilities, investment banks and private trading houses.

EY has appointed Andres Saenz as the new EY Global Private Equity Leader, effective immediately. In his new role, Saenz will oversee more than 25,000 EY professionals serving the private equity enterprise worldwide.
Andres has more than 20 years of experience assisting private equity firms with investment strategy, commercial due diligence, portfolio company strategy, value creation and sell-side engagements. He has worked in a variety of sectors, including consumer products and retail, healthcare and life sciences and business and industrial services.

KKR has appointed Sumanth Cidambi and Vijay Padmanabhan as Directors for the firm’s credit business in India.
