Growth private equity firm TA Associates has promoted 10 staff members in the firm’s Boston, Menlo Park, Hong Kong and Mumbai offices, effective 1 January 2019.

The Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) has appointed Kim Furlong as its new Chief Executive Officer.
After a decade in the corporate world, leading external affairs for Amgen Canada; a world-leading biotechnology company, Furlong brings an impressive network and a proven track record as a seasoned public affairs executive. Before joining Amgen in 2008, she held the position of Vice President Federal Government Relations for the Retail Council of Canada.

Sidley Austin has appointed Steven Kolyer as a partner in the firm’s Global Finance practice in New York.
Formerly a partner with Clifford Chance, Kolyer practice focuses on securitsations, with a particular emphasis in collateralised loan obligations (CLOs). His CLO practice includes both corporate loan CLOs and commercial real estate CLOs (CRE CLOs).
