Pantheon has promoted two of its investment team principals – Imogen Richards, Global Head of Investment Structuring and Strategy, London and Kevin Dunwoodie, Secondaries Investment Team, San Francisco – to Partner.

Apex Group (Apex) has appointed Emmanuel Tuffuor as Head of Private Equity Business Development for the Americas and Global Head of Tax, supporting the Group in developing its private equity offering in North America in addition to building out its tax service capabilities globally.
Tuffuor joins Apex from KPMG where he was a Partner for an impressive 21 years. While at KPMG he drove significant growth as the Partner-In-Charge of the Alternative Investment Tax Practice, leading all phases of domestic and international partnership plus corporate tax consulting for hedge and private equity funds in addition to broker dealers, investment banks
Frankfurt-based private equity firm VR Equitypartner and BIP Investment Partners of Luxembourg have sold their jointly-held portfolio company LEUNA-Tenside to US firm Vantage Specialty Chemicals Holding Inc.
Homburg & Partner (H&P) advised VR Equitypartner and BIP Investment Partners as part of the transaction process and conducted the Commercial Vendor Due Diligence.
VR Equitypartner is an equity capital financier in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with a focus on family-owned SMEs. BIP Investment Partners is part of the BIP Group and operates throughout Europe (particularly in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium and Luxembourg) across a range of sectors.

Intertrust has made appointments to its senior team in Jersey with Tania Bearryman appointed as Executive Director, Trust & Company Services, and Shane Hugill promoted to Head of Performance & Reward Management.
Bearryman (pictured), will have oversight of Intertrust’s Private Wealth, Treasury & Investments, Capital Markets, Corporate Services and Performance & Reward Management service lines.
As the previous Head of Performance & Reward Management, she takes on this expanded role to ensure that the service lines are aligned in realising Intertrust’s objectives and vision for its Jersey office.

Craige will serve alongside Managing Partner and now co-CIO, Peter Wilby. Aurelius Equity Opportunities SE & Co, a pan-European, mid-market special situations investor, has added Paymon Daneshpay to its team in London. Daneshpay joins Aurelius’ ‘Task Force’ as an Operations Manager with immediate effect.
Daneshpay’s appointment follows that of Peter Wood, Daven Chopra and Philip Stoner, who joined earlier in 2018 as Principal, an Operations Manager and Investment Associate respectively, and further bolsters Aurelius’ UK capabilities providing additional strength to its specialist team of operations experts.

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice has appointed Gregory Laï as a Partner of the firm.
Since joining the Firm in 2007, Laï has been actively involved in sourcing and evaluating investments across Europe, as well as working with portfolio company management teams on post-acquisition value-building strategies. He has played a leadership role with several of the Firm’s investments, including B&M Retail (2013), BUT (2016), Exova (2008), HD Supply (2007), Motor Fuel Group (2015), and Rexel (2005). In recent years, he has contributed to building CD&R’s Consumer/Retail franchise, as well as broadening the Firm’s coverage in France.
Laï worked in the
Legal & General has appointed Paul Miller, Group Strategy and M&A Director as Managing Director, Principal Investing in Legal & General Capital (LGC).
Miller will report to LGC’s CEO, Kerrigan Procter (pictured) and will join the Executive team and Investment Committee of L&G Capital.
LGC is a growth business within L&G and also delivers strong cross-group synergies, investing L&G’s own balance sheet and working closely with other L&G divisions to source and develop investment opportunities and assets for the broader Group and its clients. UK private equity house Maven Capital Partners (Maven) has appointed Gareth Price as an investment director with responsibility for sourcing VCT opportunities, investments for Maven’s MBO fund, and its private equity co-investor partner network in the South West, as well as managing portfolio investments in the region.
