Morgan joins 5Oceans Partnership from HSBC, where he was Global Head of Sponsorship and Events for more than twelve years.

Brevet Capital Management (Brevet), an investment management firm focused on creating customised, value-adding financing solutions, has appointed Vikram Sodhi as Chief Financial Officer.
Sodhi joins Brevet from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was a Partner in the Banking and Capital Markets Assurance practice providing assurance and advisory services. In his 24 years at PwC, he served financial institutions across banking, capital markets, and alternative asset management. Sodhi received a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Master of Arts in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and is a NYS licensed CPA.
Alcentra Limited (Alcentra), an alternative fixed income specialist for BNY Mellon Investment Management (IM), has appointed Sarah Madore, Maria Garcia Diego and Joanna Layton to new roles within its European Direct Lending team.
Sarah Madore and Maria Garcia Diego join as Associates. In addition to the two external appointments, Joanna Layton was hired internally and promoted to Head of European Direct Lending Portfolio Monitoring. Private markets investment firm Adams Street Partners has appointed Steve Landau as Partner and Head of Product Strategy.
In the newly created role, Landau will lead Adams Street’s efforts to develop innovative product solutions that meet the evolving needs of the firm’s clients. He will be based in Adams Street’s New York office and will report to Jim Walker, Chief Operating Officer.

C5, a specialist investment firm focused on Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence, has further expanded its US operations, with the hire of Tami Longaberger as Head of Partnerships, US.
Longaberger will also join the Board of C5’s Cloud Leadership Centre (CLC), C5’s non-profit organisation that supports thought leadership and philanthropic investments in the area of education, conflict resolution, conservation and veterans’ welfare.

The head of Ogier’s German desk, experienced M&A lawyer Frederic Pilorget, has been appointed Counsel.
Luxembourg-based Pilorget – who is admitted in Luxembourg, Paris and New York – leads the German desk offering advice on Luxembourg corporate law and private equity to German clients, mainly in Frankfurt and Munich.
Pilorget has practised for more than ten years in Luxembourg, and is one of four German speakers in Ogier’s Luxembourg team, including banking and finance partner Fabien Debroise.
