Private equity and real estate fund administrator Augentius has appointed Jimmy Leong as Managing Director, Augentius Asia, to drive business growth in line with increasing opportunities in the far east.
Working out of Augentius’ Singapore office, Leong will be responsible for developing both new and existing client relationships to support business expansion and further solidify the company’s reputation for expert fund administration throughout this region.

Highview Capital (Highview), a Los Angeles-based opportunistic private equity investment vehicle, has added Tyler Kavanaugh and Zepher Loesch, to its Business Development team, which is led by Brice Baradel.
Baradel, Kavanaugh and Loesch will drive Highview’s transaction sourcing efforts and cultivate relationships with key intermediaries, corporate sellers, and business owners. The announcement comes after the first expansion of Highview’s investment team in November 2016 and the launch of Highview’s inaugural USD500 million evergreen fund in October 2016.

Campbell Lutyens, a global alternative asset advisor, has appointed Heidi Crebo-Rediker to its Global Advisory Board.
Crebo-Rediker, an American citizen, brings a wealth of experience in both government and the private sector. She is the Chief Executive Officer of International Capital Strategies, as well as an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. Private equity house Key Capital Partners (KCP), which specialises in the smaller buy-out market, is continuing to grow with the second appointment in a month at its Leeds office.
Amish Arya joins KCP as an investment executive having previously worked as a corporate finance executive at Garbutt and Elliott. Prior to that, he spent three years with Deloitte where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

European mid-market private equity firm Idinvest Partners has appointed Guillaume Cavalin as Legal Director. He will report to Sylviane Guyonnet, Partner and COO at Idinvest Partners.
Cavalin will be involved in the structuring and the fundraising of investment vehicles in France and abroad, and will also supervise Idinvest Partners’ legal topics. His appointment highlights Idinvest’s continued international growth, with Guillaume’s practice extending to both French and foreign limited partners, including institutional investors, corporates and family offices. In addition, Guillaume will help implement Idinvest’s overseas projects.

Luxembourg-based funds expert James Bermingham has been promoted to partner at Ogier.
Bermingham, who joined Ogier as Counsel in 2017, specialises in the structuring and formation of alternative investment funds.
As an expert in the commercial, legal, regulatory and tax issues affecting institutional investment in a cross-border context, Bermingham’s practice focuses primarily on supporting international clients establishing and operating in Luxembourg. He often works with other Ogier offices on a cross-jurisdictional basis to ensure that clients get the very best advice.

KKR & Co has appointed Xavier Niel to the Board of Directors of KKR Management, the managing partner of KKR.
Neil’s appointment brings the number of independent directors on KKR’s Board to seven out of a total of eleven Board seats.
Niel serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Strategy Officer of Iliad SA.
