TA Associates portfolio company think project!, a SaaS company for collaboration in construction and engineering, has appointed construction industry Chief Information Officer, Gareth Burton, as a non-executive member of its Board of Directors.

Based in London, Clifford will be focused on origination and deal sourcing in the UK lower mid-market. John has over a decade of experience in UK mid-market lending. THL Credit Advisors (THL Credit) has named Brian Murphy (pictured), as Head of Capital Markets. Murphy, who is based in Chicago, is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager for THL Credit’s Tradable Credit strategy.
In this newly created role, Murphy will be responsible for overseeing all of THL Credit’s capital markets activities, including sourcing investment opportunities from banks and lenders and managing excess risk across THL Credit’s Tradable Credit and Direct Lending strategies.

Schiff Hardin has appointed Mauricio Beugelmans as a partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Financial Markets and Products Practice Groups in San Francisco.
Beugelmans (pictured), advises financial institutions including brokerage firms, investment banks, private equity firms, hedge funds, and investment advisers on critical regulatory and compliance issues. He also represents clients in securities and commercial litigation and arbitration.

French private equity investor Activa Capital has promoted Emma France to Associate for ESG and Digital Transformation. Her mission, under the responsibility of Christophe Parier, Partner, will be to strengthen the ESG process within Activa Capital as well as in all its portfolio companies.
France joined Activa Capital in 2017 as an ESG Analyst in charge of creating ESG roadmaps for Activa Capital’s portfolio companies. Her role was to guide the portfolio and Activa Capital in all areas related to ESG: best practice audits, launching and steering of specific projects and the evaluation of their results.

UK private equity house Maven Capital Partners (Maven) has appointed Andy Povey and Raj Minhas as Investment Managers to help manage the Maven MEIF Debt Fund team in the West Midlands.
