Murray Devine, a US valuation advisory firm, has appointed Robert A Tribuiani as managing director, head of business development.
Tribuiani will be responsible for developing, executing and managing sales strategies, focusing on Murray Devine’s key end markets, including private equity and venture capital firms, debt and hedge funds, banks and corporations.
With over 20 years of experience in consultative sales, relationship management and business development, Tribuiani joins Murray Devine from SolomonEdwards where he was a senior business development executive. Wynnchurch Capital has promoted Frank Hayes to co-managing partner of the firm.
Hayes has more than 28 years of experience in private equity investing and corporate finance, as well as investment origination and portfolio management.
Hayes joined Wynnchurch in 2001 and has served as a partner since that time. He currently serves on the board of directors of Carson Air, Gypsum Technologies, Pro-Fab Group, Senco, and Texas Hydraulics.

Canadian investment bank FirePower Capital has launched an asset management arm that will provide debt financing to lower mid-market Canadian businesses.
The FirePower Private Capital Division, a specialist 'Gap Debt' lender, aims to assist lower mid-market Canadian businesses searching for capital to continue to grow.
"Canadian entrepreneurs just do not get their due in this country," says FirePower's founder and chief executive officer Ilan Jacobson. "Quite simply, businesses here do not have access to what their US counterparts do in terms of next-stage, growth financing, which is stifling innovation and giving Canadian entrepreneurs a bad rap."

NorthEdge Capital has promoted Jon Pickering to head of Manchester to lead the firm’s investment operations across the North West.
Pickering has worked in the North West private equity market since 2002 and joined NorthEdge in 2013.
During his time at NorthEdge, he has led seven deals plus a number of follow-on portfolio acquisitions. This includes investments into SAAS solutions provider Utiligroup and composite door manufacturer Solidor and subsequent acquisitions to create DW3 Products Group. More recently, he led the investment into the niche logistics provider, Abbey Logistics.

Rothschild & Co, an independent financial advisory group, has opened an office in Chicago.
Investment banker Eric Hirschfield has joined Rothschild Global Advisory as a managing director and will head the new office.
Hirschfield, who has 28 years' experience as an M&A professional, joins Rothschild & Co from Goldman Sachs where he was a managing director.
Located at 77 West Wacker Drive, the Chicago office will serve Rothschild & Co's global client base, with investment banking expertise in over 50 offices in 40 countries. A core team of bankers has already joined Hirschfield in the Chicago office.
James (Jimmy) Neissa, head of
Venture and growth investor Beringea has strengthened its UK investment team with three new hires including investment director, Eyal Malinger.
These appointments continue the growth in the investment team over the last 18 months, linked to an increase in funds under management.
Malinger joins Beringea from Countrywide where he oversaw investments in property technology. Having also held positions at Oaktree Capital and McKinsey & Company, he has a proven track record of identifying and managing investments, working with entrepreneurs and growing businesses.

European venture capital company Truffle Capital has appointed Olga Koulechova as partner and head of business development.
Koulechova is taking over the business development and will manage institutional fund raising campaigns in life sciences and fintech – Truffle Capital's main areas of expertise.
Prior to joining Truffle Capital, Koulechova had been head of business development and partner at Idinvest Partners since 2011.

Loveday will be responsible for enhancing and expanding the firm’s institutional relationships in the EMEA region.

Law firm McDermott Will & Emery has appointed Robert Goldstein as partner and head of private equity for the firm’s New York office.

KKR has appointed Paul Yang, current president and CEO of China Development Financial Corporation (CDFC), as head of Greater China, effective January 2017.
The appointment follows KKR’s recent announcement that it would expand its Asia-Pacific leadership team with the addition of senior investment talent in China, Singapore and Korea.
Zhen Ji recently joined as a managing director of KKR China from CITIC Capital.
