Richard Moore has joined the investment team at private equity investor Calculus Capital.   Moore (pictured) joins from Citigroup where he worked from 2005 to 2013, most recently as the head of the European technology (TMT) investment banking team.   Moore, who qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, has wide-ranging industry expertise having also worked at Flemings and JP Morgan. Constance Hunter, KPMG

Private equity house WestBridge Capital has appointed Pascal Wittet as senior investment manager.   The announcement follows the firm’s recent move to new offices in London to accommodate its growing team.   An economics graduate, Chartered Accountant and MBA, Wittet will be based in WestBridge Capital’s London office.   Managing partner Guy Davies, says: “We’re delighted Pascal has joined us. The Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA) has appointed Robert W van Zwieten as its president and chief executive officer.   Jennifer Choi, vice president of industry and external affairs, has served the organisation as acting CEO during the executive search, following the departure of founding president and CEO Sarah Alexander earlier this year.   Van Zwieten (pictured) brings more than 25 years of industry experience in senior leadership roles at financial institutions across the US, Europe and Asia. Most recently, as the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) director of private sector capital markets based in Manila, Philippines, he oversaw a USD2.5bn
Fiduciary, funds and corporate services provider First Names Group has appointed Morgan Jubb as group chief executive officer.   Jubb (pictured) will replace the current CEO Declan Kenny who will move in to the role of group executive chairman.   Jubb joined First Names Group as the MBO from IFG completed in July 2012. He was appointed as chief financial and operating officer to drive the development and growth of the group through deep functional management strength, processes and systems. Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) has appointed retired four-star General and former director of the CIA David Petraeus as chairman of the newly created KKR Global Institute.   Henry Kravis, co-founder and co-chief executive of KKR, says: “I have long known and respected General Petraeus and, on behalf of everyone at KKR, I welcome him to the firm. Enterprise Ventures has appointed Stewart McCombe as manager of The North West Fund for Mezzanine – the GBP15m fund which provides investment for fast-growing businesses.   The role marks a return to the world of finance for McCombe, a former corporate banker who spent over 20 years with Bank of Scotland. Since 2009 he has worked in the not-for-profit sector as a consultant and a trustee for a number of charities. McCombe has continued to work with businesses in the region as a coach with Winning Pitch and has provided young people with an insight into business through Young Enterprise.
