Stephen Hickey has joined CVC Credit Partners (CCP) as member of the Management Committee, Partner and Chief Risk Officer. He will be based in New York where he will have global responsibilities including chairing the newly formed Global Portfolio Committee, overseeing investments and the development of the firm’s business and products.
Hickey joins from Goldman Sachs where he spent 20 years in various senior roles including Global Head of Leverage Finance, Co-Head of Global Loans, Member of the Firmwide Risk and Firmwide Capital Committees and Head of Loan Sales and Secondary Trading (Proprietary Investing and Flow Trading). Cordea Savills, the international property investment manager, has appointed John Claxon as a Director of Investment to lead the company’s expansion of its UK segregated mandate business.
Claxon, who will report to George Tindley (pictured), Executive Director and Head of Investment, UK, has 25 years’ experience of managing and advising real estate portfolios. He joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management, where he was Head of the UK Investment Management Business. At BNP, he focused on segregated mandates and was discretionary manager for some major UK pension fund mandates, for which he delivered robust performance returns.

Doug Henderson has joined Oak Hill Advisors as Partner. Based in London, Henderson will lead the firm’s European performing credit business and enhance its established distressed capabilities.
Henderson has more than 25 years of experience and extensive relationships in the leveraged finance market, including the last 12 years in London. He joins OHA from Goldman, Sachs & Co, where he most recently served as Chairman of the European Credit Finance Group in the Investment Banking Division, with oversight of the firm’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Asia) loan, high yield, restructuring, structured finance and real estate finance businesses. Llewellyn John joins FF&P Private Equity from Nova Capital Management where he was Associate Partner having joined the firm in 2006. Private equity firm Advent International has appointed two new Independent Regional Advisors in Norway, Birger Nergaard and Gunnar Rydning.
Nergaard and Rydning join Simon Lindfors, who has been an Independent Regional Advisor to Advent in Sweden since 2010, and will work closely with Jens Petter Hagen, who coordinates Advent’s activity in the Nordic region.
