Private equity firm Gryphon Investors is to sell its portfolio company Trinity Consultants to an affiliate of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Trinity, which Gryphon acquired in partnership with management in 2011, is a leading environmental consulting firm which specialises in providing air quality compliance and permitting services to its private sector clients across 48 offices in the US, Canada, China, the Middle East and the UK. Deutsche Telekom AG has entered into an agreement on the sale of the online platform t-online.de and the digital marketer InteractiveMedia CCSP to Ströer SE. The transaction is to be carried out by way of a capital increase of Ströer against in-kind contributions of the two entities.   In this transaction Deutsche Telekom AG has relied on the advice of Noerr, Gleiss Lutz and Hogan Lovells. Symantec Corp is to sell its information management business, known as Veritas, to an investor group led by The Carlyle Group together with GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, and other expected co-investors, for USD8 billion in cash. The transaction, which was unanimously approved by Symantec's Board of Directors, is expected to close by 1 January, 2016.   Upon closing of the transaction, Symantec expects to receive approximately USD6.3 billion in net cash proceeds, subject to certain customary post-closing adjustments. The EU Commission has confirmed its continued endorsement of Guernsey as a cooperative jurisdiction following a meeting between officials in Brussels. Bermuda remains fully committed to the process of qualifying under rules set out by the European Union for third-country rights for Island-based alternative fund managers. Funds managed by Cabot Square Capital, the specialist financial services private equity investor, have successfully completed the sale of The Compello Group to the Hoist Finance Group of Sweden, a debt restructuring partner to international banks. The Compello Group is a leading debt purchasing and management company. Compello Group buys non-performing consumer debt from banks and other lenders and then works with the borrower to help them establish a payment plan or other solution for their outstanding loans.   Cabot Square has previously owned and successfully exited debt purchasing and solution services businesses Cabot Financial and The Lowell Group.

Farlie Turner served as the exclusive financial advisor to Pine Tree and BMI. The transaction was led by Mike Turner, a Managing Director at Farlie Turner, in addition to Kerensa Jimenez, Daniel Vetrano and Keita Iwabuchi. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
