LBO France is to sell its stake in Flash Europe to the company’s management team, headed by Philippe Higelin, and Eurazeo PME.
The sale is expected to be finalised in late September, subject to approval by the competent authorities. Siparex, minority shareholder of Flash Europe, also committed to sell its stake during the process.

A recommendation by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) to grant Guernsey a ‘third country’ passport under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) has been welcomed by Guernsey’s funds sector.
In announcing its findings from the ‘Call for Evidence – AIFMD passport and third country AIFMs’ consultation ESMA confirmed that Guernsey had demonstrated the ability to satisfy the criteria required under AIFMD. Private equity firm Arle Capital Partners (Arle) has agreed to sell Fokker Technologies BV (Fokker) to GKN plc (GKN) for an enterprise value of EUR706 million.
Fokker specialises in the design, development and production of lightweight aero structures, electrical wiring interconnection systems and landing gear. It also provides maintenance, modification and logistics services to aircraft owners and operators.

Marwyn Value Investors (MVI) has entered into a conditional placing letter to subscribe for a further GBP55.0 million of new ordinary shares in Zegona Communications as part of the placing of new ordinary shares to fund the proposed acquisition of Telecable Capital Holdingand its subsidiaries.
This would increase the MVI Master Fund’s total investment in Zegona to GBP67.0 million (including its initial investment in Zegona in March 2015). Private equity firm Swander Pace Capital is, is selling Merrick Pet Care, a natural and organic pet food leader, to Nestlé Purina PetCare. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Other selling shareholders include founder Garth Merrick, Monitor Clipper Partners, and Highland Consumer Partners.
