Global law firm Reed Smith has advised CBPE Capital, and the selling shareholders, on the sale of  restaurant group Côte Restaurants (Côte) to BC Partners. Reed Smith also advised the continuing management team on the investment aspects of the deal. The sale represents a money multiple of 2.9x CBPE’s original investment.   The team, led by Philip Taylor, also advised CBPE on the acquisition of Côte in September 2013. Livingstone's Media & Technology sector team has advised on the management buy-out of fast-growing business information company Briefing Media Group, backed by growth investor Lyceum Capital.  Livingstone’s Media & Technology sector team advised Lyceum on the transaction, which further enhances the firm’s credentials in the Business Information space. Private equity firm HGGC has completed the equity recapitalisation of Selligent SA, a Belgium-based B2C marketing automation software provider.   HGGC’s investment will help the rapidly growing company expand into new markets and broaden its technology platform.  As part of the agreement, the Company’s founders and management will retain a significant minority stake in the business, which will remain headquartered in Europe. IK Investment Partners’ (IK) IK 2007 Fund is o sell the remaining parts of the Agros Nova Group – specifically its non-carbonated beverages segment including brands Fortuna, Garden and Pysio – to Polmlek.  The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the transaction. Headquartered in Warsaw, Agros Nova is a leader in all three of its business segments, comprising fruit and vegetable preserves, ready-made food and non-carbonated beverages. General Atlantic has agreed to sell its majority stake in amedes Holding AG, a provider of medical diagnostic services in Germany and Belgium, to Antin Infrastructure Partners.  The purchase price has not been disclosed. The transaction is subject to approval by the competition authorities. With 35 laboratories and 27 practices across Germany and Belgium, amedes Group offers interdisciplinary and medical-diagnostic services for patients, medical practitioners, clinics and other institutions. Noerr has advised the automotive supplier Neue Halberg Guss on the takeover of the South African foundry Atlantis Foundries (AF). The seller is Mercedes Benz South Africa. With this acquisition, Neue Halberg Guss is strengthening its business in the truck and commercial vehicles sector. Atlantis Foundries specialises in casting cylinder blocks for commercial vehicles and besides Daimler also supplies engine manufacturers in the UK and the USA. The Daimler group remains an important customer after the takeover.
