ApeVue, a capital markets data company, has launched the first independent, daily pricing data service for pre-IPO stocks.
The service provides daily prices for around 100 non-public companies, including well known unicorns like SpaceX, Impossible Foods and Epic Games, as well as less visible, but significant companies like Addepar, Chime and Discord.
ApeVue uses observable market information, including transactions, bid and offer data and funding details, in its service. The pricing mechanism is objective, transparent, auditable and resembles methodologies standard in other markets such as syndicated loans, structured credit, bonds and derivatives.
DigiCert, Inc, a provider of TLS/SSL, IoT and other PKI solutions, backed by Clearlake Capital Group LP (Clearlake), Crosspoint Capital, and TA Associates, has acquired Internet of Things (IoT) cybersecurity provider Mocana.
The combination of DigiCert and Mocana technologies provides IoT manufacturers and operators with a comprehensive platform for managing security across the full IoT device lifecycle. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Godspeed Capital Management (Godspeed Capital), a lower middle-market Defense & Government services, solutions, and technology focused private equity firm, has acquired Exceptional Software Strategies (ESS), a provider of information technology solutions to mission-oriented Federal agencies, including members of the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense agencies.
The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
ESS will join Godspeed Capital’s recently formed high-end cyber and technology solutions platform holding company, designed to provide US Defence and Intelligence Community agencies with a full suite of solutions to combat an increasing and ever-evolving level of cybersecurity and intelligence threats.
Mercer Global Advisors, a full-service wealth management firm and national Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) backed by private equity firms Genstar and Oak Hill Capital, has acquired Wrenn Financial Strategies, a wealth management firm located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Wrenn serves over 150 clients with assets under management (AUM) of approximately USD238 million.

Flipdish, an international online ordering and digital experience platform for hospitality, has received a cUS100 million investment led by Tencent.
The funding values the company at over USD1.25 billion and follows a USD48.5m investment from Tiger Global Management in February 2021.
Tencent join other existing Flipdish investors Global Founders Capital, Elkstone, Enterprise Ireland and Growing Capital.
