East Chop Capital, a private equity firm with USD20 million in assets under management, has raised USD9 million for its real estate fund that is focused on the USD112 billion global vacation rental market.
This is the company’s second fund, capitalising on the intersection of real estate, the rebound in travel, and the future of hybrid work. The capital raised thus far is more than double the size of the first fund, with investor commitments received in 85 per cent less time.

Strategic finance platform Mosaic has raised USD25 million in a Series B financing round led by Founders Fund, with participation from existing investors General Catalyst, XYZ Venture Capital, Fifth Down Capital, and Friends & Family Capital.
The round brings Mosaic’s total funding to USD46 million in under 14 months, and reunites Peter Thiel, Managing Partner at Founders Fund and Co-founder of both Palantir Technologies and PayPal, with the team that helped build the finance department at Palantir.
Funding will be used to further expand the company’s product development and go to market teams as Mosaic continues to add greater depth

Goodlord will use the investment to accelerate its ambitious growth plans, including potential acquisitions in the UK and beyond.

Private markets investment firm Hamilton Lane has partnered with digital securities exchange ADDX to tokenise a class of shares issued by Hamilton Lane Global Private Assets Fund (GPA), to enable access to the private markets for a broader set of investors in Asia.

Singapore-based private equity manager Azalea Investment Management (Azalea) has launched the Altrium Sustainability Fund I (ASF I).
The fund will invest in environmental, social and governance (ESG) focused opportunities to achieve positive environmental and social outcomes alongside private equity financial returns.
ASF I is a PE fund-of-funds product that enables institutional and other accredited investors to build an ESG-focused investment portfolio. The fund is co-seeded by sponsor, the Azalea Group, together with homegrown financial services company Singlife with Aviva. Each party has committed USD50 million to kick off the fund.

Yellow Wood Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm focused on investing in consumer brands and companies, has closed Yellow Wood Capital Partners III at its target and hard cap of USD750 million in limited partner capital commitments.
The new fund was oversubscribed and included capital commitments from many of Yellow Wood’s long-time limited partners as well as the addition of a small number of new investors comprised of university endowments, family offices and other institutional investors.
