Growth equity investment firm FTV Capital has held the close of FTV VII, its seventh and largest fund, oversubscribed at its hard cap of USD2.3 billion in capital commitments.

NIO Capital, a Chinese investment firm focused on decarbonisation and digitalisation, has held the successful final closing of NIO Capital’s flagship fund, Eve ONE Fund II at approximately USD400 million.

A new venture capital fund which will invest in startup companies is developing tech that could be used in the automotive/mobility industries, has been launched by car maker Stellantis, according to a report by Reuters.
The company has allocated an initial EUR300 million for investment by Stellantis ventures in both early- and later-stage companies with a focus on sustainability, in-vehicle tech, and vehicle marketing, sales and finance.
Neuberger Berman is creating a ‘next generation’ SPAC platform having closed its latest fund – the Neuberger Berman Opportunistic Capital Solutions Fund – with USD1.95 billion in capital commitments following a private investment from CC Capital, according to a report by AlternativesWatch.
Neuberger Berman and CC Capital are to co-sponsor a series of SPACs with the fund entering into a USD200 million forward purchase agreement with each one. As well as scaled capital, the CC Neuberger SPAC structure, offers companies access to up to USD300 million in backstop capital, which Neuberger Berman says makes deals more likely to reach closure.
