Coherent, a global no-code software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider, has closed a $75 million Series B funding round led by Maverick Capital, including Maverick Ventures. Owl Rock, a Blue Owl division, GreatPoint Ventures, and existing investors Cathay Innovation and Franklin Templeton, also participated.   Coherent’s annual recurring revenue grew more than 10x and its customer base quadrupled, now stretching over six continents, since the company’s Series A in November 2020. Private equity advisor Triago has appointed Managing Partner Matt Swain to the newly-created post of global chief executive officer (CEO). Monroe Capital (Monroe) has held the final close of its 2022 Monroe Capital Private Credit Fund IV (Fund) with $4.8 billion of investable capital, including targeted fund leverage and separately managed accounts investing alongside the fund. The fund has limited partner commitments with over 300 investors in 17 countries. The fund primarily targets private equity sponsored and non-sponsored, lower middle-market US companies with less than $35 million in EBITDA. Munich-based EGYM, a portfolio company of HPE Growth, has acquired the Paris-headquartered Gymlib for a high double-digit million purchase price. Over the last five years HPE Growth has supported EGYM in becoming Germany’s leading provider of corporate fitness solutions with its qualitrain brand. EGYM relies on a fast-growing customer base of circa 3,600 corporate customers, whose employees have access to over 5,500 top-quality fitness facilities across Germany. The acquisition will combine these customers with Gymlib’s 600 corporate customers and 4,300 fitness facilities across France and Belgium.
