Aurelius has successfully closed the acquisition of McKesson UK, the parent company of a number of market leading healthcare businesses including LloydsPharmacy, John Bell & Croyden and AAH Pharmaceuticals.

SaaS company Cyclr has raised GBP5.5 million in a new funding round led by Praetura Ventures and Blackfinch Ventures (Blackfinch).
Headquartered in London, Cyclr has developed an embedded integration platform (embedded iPaaS) that it sells into the software and SaaS economy. It has experienced significant growth over the past few years, expanding its team by 57 per cent in 2021, and today generates most of its revenue from international clients.
I Squared Capital has closed the ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III at its USD15 billion legal cap, exceeding an initial target of USD12 billion.
Including commitments from I Squared Capital and a dedicated co-investment vehicle, the fund has USD15.5 billion in investable capital and received commitments from over 200 institutional investors, including public and private pensions, sovereign funds, insurance companies, asset managers and family offices in 27 countries.

Today the Association of Investment Companies (AIC) published the amount of money raised by VCTs in the 2021/22 tax year. VCT fundraising has passed the GBP1 billion milestone for the first time in the 20/21 tax year, raising GBP1.13 billion (GBP1,133 million) to be invested in small and innovative UK companies, according to the Association of Investments Companies (AIC).
