Inflexion Private has agreed to sell its investment in Marley Group (Marley), a UK manufacturer of pitched roof systems to the construction market, to FTSE250 listed Marshalls plc for GBP533 million.
The sale of Marley, will generate a return of 3.5x and an IRR of 58 per cent for Inflexion investors. The announcement follows a record period of divestments by Inflexion over the last 12 months which includes the successful sales of Alcumus, Halo, Huws Gray, Medivet, Reed & Mackay, and Succession.
Inflexion backed the carve-out of Marley in August 2019 from Etex, a Belgium based building materials firm, attracted by the first-class management
Alternative investment platform CAIS has secured a USD100 million investment from Reverence Capital Partners.
The raise is a continuation of the company’s USD225 million round in January, led by Apollo, Motive Partners, and Franklin Templeton which resulted in CAIS’ enterprise valuation exceeding USD1 billion.
Milton Berlinski, Managing Partner at Reverence Capital Partners, also joins CAIS’ Board of Directors, effective immediately.
The new investment accelerates CAIS’s mission to modernise how independent financial advisors learn about and gain access to alternative investments.
IntelyCare, s tech-enabled nurse staffing platform for healthcare organisations in the United States, has secured USD115 million in a Series C financing round led by Janus Henderson Investors.
The funding, valuing IntelyCare at USD1.1 billion, also includes investments by prominent new and existing investors, including Longitude Capital, Leeds Illuminate, Endeavour Vision, Revelation Partners, and Kaiser Permanente Ventures.
Since its Series B in February of 2020, IntelyCare’s annual revenue has grown by more than 850 per cent. The company plans to use the new funding to expand its footprint to new states and invest heavily in its AI-based platform and data
Healthcare Linen Services Group (HLSG), a provider of healthcare laundry services in the Midwest and Central United States, has secured a strategic growth investment from York Capital Management’s private equity group (York Private Equity).
Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Founded in 1915, HLSG is an outsourced provider of linen management solutions which partners with healthcare administrators, clinicians and staff across the Midwest and Central US to deliver a wide variety of comfortable, bacteria free linens to thousands of hospitals, physician offices, surgery centres, and nursing homes.
HLSG is the fifth platform investment completed in the last twelve

Barclays Anthemis will invest an initial GBP500,000 into regulated Future Earnings Agreements (FEA) assets via a special purpose vehicle (SPV), with the right to extend the investment to GBP10 million. This is the first of a number of such deals that StepEx plans to do with asset managers.

Fidel API, a global financial infrastructure platform, has raised USD65 million in a Series B funding.
Existing investors NYCA Partners, QED Investors and others also participated in the round which brings Fidel API’s total funding to USD88 million since inception.
The Series B financing will allow the company to continue to scale its workforce and product offerings and will also accelerate investments into existing products.
