Private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners (TSG) is to acquire a majority stake in Cadogan Tate Group Holdings (Cadogan Tate), a specialist logistics group.
As part of the transaction, Cadogan Tate management will continue to lead the Company and retain a minority stake. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Founded in 1977, Cadogan Tate is an international storage, moving and shipping group specialising in fine art and other valuable possessions.
Viz.ai, an AI-powered disease detection and care coordination platform, has raised a USD100 million in a Series D funding round at a USD1.2 billion valuation.
The round, which comes as the number of hospitals using the Viz Platform surpasses the 1,000 mark and patients served reaches millions, was led by Tiger Global and Insight Partners.
Also joining the round were several of the company’s early backers, including Scale Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Threshold, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Sozo Ventures, CRV, and Susa. The new funds will be used to support Viz.ai’s significant growth trajectory, expand the Viz Platform to detect and
Peak Technologies, a system integrator in the Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) market, and a portfolio company of industrial-focused private equity firm Sole Source Capital, has acquired Graphic Label.
Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
The acquisition of Graphic Label marks Sole Source Capital’s 13th investment in the AIDC industry. Sole Source has supported Peak Technologies in five prior add-on acquisitions including Optical Phusion, Inovity, Bar Code Direct, DBK Concepts and Avalon Integration.
Headquartered in Yakima, Washington and founded in 1993, Graphic Label is a provider of AIDC consumables, hardware, software, and related installation and on-site services.
Prosek Partners, an integrated marketing and communications firm, has launched an investor relations (IR) environmental, social and governance (ESG) advisory services offering in partnership with Blue Dot Capital, a strategic sustainable finance consultancy.
Prosek acquired a stake in Blue Dot in 2021 to enhance the firm’s ESG capabilities and offer strategic ESG advisory for financial services clients. The new offering, developed specifically for public and late-stage companies, pairs Prosek’s IR experience with Blue Dot’s ESG and sustainable finance expertise to offer ESG counsel to companies as they navigate the ESG landscape and effectively communicate their ESG value proposition to investors.
Elastrin Therapeutics, a privately held biotechnology company, has closed a USD10 million funding round led by Kizoo Technology Capital, an early-stage investor in breakthrough rejuvenation technologies.
Other investors in the round include Starbloom Capital and SC Launch.
Elastrin Therapeutics was founded in 2018 as a spinout from Clemson University where the technology was first developed over a 20-year period. The company’s lead asset ELT-001 is an EDTA-loaded nanoparticle conjugated with a proprietary monoclonal antibody for the treatment of vascular calcification.
Air Temp Mechanical Services (Air Temp), a portfolio company of Ironwood Capital Connecticut and Anvil Capital, has acquired Hipoint Heating & Cooling (Hipoint).
The deal was structured as an add-on acquisition for Air Temp with funding for the transaction provided by Salem Five Bank and funds managed by Ironwood Capital Connecticut.
Founded in 1991 by John Przybylski and Larry Pugrab, Hipoint is a regional commercial HVAC service company.
Imaginary Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm co-founded by Natalie Massenet and Nick Brown, has announced its third fund of USD500 million across early and late stage vehicles.
In addition, the firm has promoted Kelly Dill and Logan Langberg to Partner.
The new vehicles have a diverse focus including underserved markets and emerging consumer needs. With Fund III, Imaginary is also positioned to take advantage of the consumer shifts emerging through Web3 as new opportunities spanning consumers, brands and communities are created at a rapid pace.

Corporate and M&A attorney Waajid Siddiqui has joined Holland & Knight’s New York office as a partner.
He focuses on upstream and downstream oil and gas transactions, as well as acquisitions and divestitures of lending and leasing platforms and portfolios of financial assets. Siddiqui was previously a partner with Shearman & Sterling.
Prior to becoming a private practice lawyer, Siddiqui was senior counsel for a large integrated energy company, where he worked on cross-border M&A and corporate finance transactions.
