Gianernesto Bernardi, who joined JP Morgan just two years ago to head up the bank’s M&A activity in the country from Milan, has quit to join Azzurra Capital, a small private equity firm based in Dubai, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.

Global investment firm Carlyle has appointed John Redett as the firm’s chief financial officer (CFO) and head of corporate strategy, effective 1 October, 2023. He succeeds Curt Buser, CFO since 2014, who is retiring from the firm at the end of the year.
