Monroe Capital has expanded its direct originations team with the addition of seven experienced investment professionals – David Fischer and Nick McDearis in the firm’s Atlanta office, Dan Letizia and Tommy Ryan in the firm’s Chicago office, and Jack Bernstein in the firm’s New York office.
In addition, recently hired Stewart Hanlon is in the firm’s San Francisco office and Alex Patil is in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Independent Growth Finance (IGF), an independent commercial finance provider, has appointed John Allbrook as Non-Executive Chairman.
Allbrook replaces Matt Cooper, who, during three years as Chairman, helped IGF transition from a small financier to a major independent asset based lender.

Dillon Eustace has appointed Shane Coveney as a Partner in the firm’s Asset Management and Investment Funds Practice.
With over 10 years’ experience, Coveney’s practice focuses on the structuring, establishment and operation of Irish regulated investment funds with particular expertise in exchange traded funds, UCITS and alternative investment funds and advising on the significant legal and regulatory developments impactingasset managers and fund promoters.

EY has appointed Paul Ahern as Partner to lead its mid-market Private Equity team.
Ahern rejoins EY – having previously led the firm’s Parthenon UK strategy business for a number of years – following a period supporting an early stage technology business where he successfully supported growth as well as a number of fundraising cycles.
At EY, Ahern will be focused on developing the firm’s mid-market private equity business, supporting clients across their life cycle, driving maximum value for their investments and assets.

BGF has adds to its Quoted team with the appointment of Simon Blackaby as an investor.
Blackaby joins from the EMEA Equity Capital Markets team at Jefferies International and will be working with Tom Jenkins, Matt Singh and Paul Stevens in BGF’s Quoted team, specialising in funding options for AIM-listed businesses.

Augusta & Co (Augusta), a specialist financial advisory and investment firm for the renewable energy industry, has appointed Axel Narváez Kirkpatrick as Managing Director, Head of Spain.
Narváez will be responsible for bringing Augusta’s extensive advisory and deal making capability, as well as its equity placement power, to the very active Spanish market. In this role he will be developing both Augusta’s advisory business and its bespoke investment management strategies in Spain.

In this cross-functional role, Hale (pictured) will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to drive innovation and accelerate the adoption and growth of Artivest’s web-based platform.

Huang is joining the investment team led by Jean Maunoury, Deputy CEO and CIO of iM Global Partner.
Beside identifying potential partners and conducting due diligences on them as the other team members do, Huang will focus on the effective implementation of iM Global Partner’s research process. She is also supporting iM Global Partner’s sales teams in promoting the Partner’s strategies.
