The Global Sustainability Initiative (GSI), an global impact investment project, is to have its headquarters in Catslebar, County Mayo, Ireland, where 250 jobs will be created. The launch of GSI is the result of five years of development and planning by Dublin-based OpenSparkz LP and its partners. Mayo County Council Enterprise and Investment Unit has worked with OpenSparkz to select suitable sites for GSI operations in the county. Canadian alternative asset management firm Fengate Capital Management has opened an office in Australia as part of the firm’s international investment strategy.  The office, located in Sydney, will be the headquarters for Fengate's Asia-Pacific operations. Greg Osborne has been appointed Managing Director – Head of Asia-Pacific to lead these operations. One of the leading investors in the Canadian Public-Private Partnerships (P3) market, Fengate Capital has invested over USD632 million across 26 infrastructure projects, representing approximately USD10 billion in total project value. Private equity firm Tower Three Partners has appointed Debra Bricker as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), succeeding Chris Jacobs who has retired. Bricker joins Tower Three with more than 16 years of private equity and financial management experience. She brings extensive leadership experience, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Harvest Partners, LP Bricker is a New York Certified Public Accountant. Danish/Swedish lower mid-market private equity investor Polaris Private Equity has appointed two new members to its team.  Martin Lindh joins the firm as investment manager from SEB, while Thorsten Madsen, who also joins as a investment manager, was previously with Implement Consulting Group.  The appointments follow Polaris’s achievement of a successful first close on its latest private equity fund – Polaris Private Equity IV – at DKK 2.2 billion (EUR300 million). Investec Investment Banking (Investec) has appointed Serge Rissi as a Director in the Financial Sponsor Transaction Group, reporting to Christian Hess. Rissi has 15 years of M&A execution experience.
