Law firm Winckworth Sherwood has strengthened its Transport and Infrastructure group with two senior partner appointments. At the same time the firm has promoted Senior Associate Eollyn Ives to partner in its Real Estate group
Osborne Clark’s National Head of Planning, Brian Greenwood, joins Winckworth Sherwood’s Transport and Infrastructure group as a partner on 1 April 2015. Robert Banham also joins this group as a partner to work alongside Greenwood.

MIK Fund Solutions has opened a Boston office seed with three staff currently. The move follows a recent initiative in Asia that saw the opening of an office in Shanghai.
The Boston office opens up a completely new talent pool for recruiting and hiring for MIK’s global development team. Overall, it will support the firm’s 24×7 global delivery model for software development and client support.

Law firm Duane Morris has named Brian P Kerwin (pictured) as Chair of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. Kerwin was among the founders of the Duane Morris Chicago office in 1999.

Mesirow Advanced Strategies has named Mark Kulpins as co-chief investment officer (Co-CIO).
Kulpins will work alongside Steve Vogt, who previously served as sole chief investment officer. “We’re pleased to recognise Mark’s valuable contributions to the investment team and to our investment performance,” says Tom Macina, chief executive officer of Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc.
In his role as co-CIO, Kulpins will continue to manage the teams responsible for hedge fund research and portfolio management, while Vogt will continue to focus on macro level analysis, strategy allocation, and portfolio research.

Ogier has appointed three new partners to its team in Jersey and Guernsey – Sara Johns (pictured) and Jamie Bore in Jersey and Christopher Jones in Guernsey, effective from 1 April, bringing Ogier’s total number of partners to 49.
In Jersey Johns, who has more than 20 years’ experience in London and Jersey, has been promoted to partner. She is a Jersey Advocate specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and capital markets transactions involving offshore vehicles. She also leads Ogier’s competition law practice in Jersey.

CamberView Partners has appointed Allie Monaco Rutherford as a Principal.
Rutherford brings to her new role at CamberView more than 15 years of experience researching and advising on corporate governance matters. She was most recently a Director at Ernst & Young LLP (EY), leading the firm's corporate governance initiatives in the US.

Palamon Capital Partners has appointed Mina Mutafchieva as an Associate Principal.
Mutafchieva joins Palamon from McKinsey & Company where she was an Engagement Manager in the firm’s Antwerp office. She was with McKinsey for five years and latterly she specialised in leading strategy development and commercial transformation projects on behalf of companies in the financial services sector. Ms Mutafchieva graduated from the London School of Economics with a First Class Honours in International Relations and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
