Calastone, the independent cross-border transaction network for the global funds industry, has secured a USD18m round of investment led by Accel Partners with participation from existing investor Octopus Investments.
The investment will be used to accelerate the company’s global growth strategy, with a focus on Asia Pacific and Europe, in addition to expanding its product range.

Clearlake Capital Group has completed the acquisition of Futuris Automotive from Elders Limited.
The transaction was first announced on 31 July 2013. Clearlake operating advisor and automotive industry veteran Mervin Dunn has joined the Futuris board of directors as co-chairman.
Established in 1967, Futuris Automotive designs, engineers and manufactures seating and interior systems for leading global OEMs. Key automotive solutions include seating systems and hardware, interior products such as door trims, headliners, and floor carpets, and various aftermarket services. Baltcom, an entertainment and telecommunication services company in Latvia, has completed the acquisition of IZZI, the second largest cable television operator in the country.
Baltcom completed this acquisition with the full support of its shareholders AXA Private Equity, the European diversified private equity firm, and Resource Partners, a consumer-focused investor in Central and Eastern Europe.

BMC Software has concluded its acquisition by a private investor group led by Bain Capital and Golden Gate Capital together with Insight Venture Partners, GIC Special Investments and Elliott Management.

The CapStreet Group has completed a majority recapitalisation of Industrial Plant Services, the parent company of EPSCO International and Plant Maintenance Services, in partnership with the senior management team.
Founded in 1994, Industrial Plant Services is a Houston-based provider of corrosion resistant and non-metallic products primarily serving the petrochemical and general industrial end markets.
Private equity firm CapStreet, also based in Houston, focuses on growing, lower-middle market companies in Texas and other Sunbelt states.

HIG Capital’s Brazilian affiliate has acquired a majority stake in Eletromidia, one of the largest players in the out-of-home advertising industry.
The two founders will retain a significant ownership and will continue in their positions of leading the company.
Founded in 1993, Eletromidia reaches over six million people daily with advertising solutions. The company manages urban furniture, digital outdoor displays and indoor networks across 18 cities.

CrowdStrike will use the financing to further drive innovation in big data analytics and security intelligence and support an aggressive go-to-market strategy in the next-generation threat protection space.
