Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services and Safway Group, which agreed to combine on 20 March, have named Safway’s president and chief executive officer Bill Hayes as president and CEO of the combined entity. The Riverside Company has promoted two investment professionals to partner. Joe Manning works out of the firm’s Cleveland office and Steven Spiteri works in Riverside’s Melbourne, Australia office.   Manning first joined Riverside in 2006 and re-joined in 2011 after taking several years off to work at an international non-profit development firm and attend graduate school. Manning is the current lead on three platform investments, and has played a key role on a number of successful exited investments, including SaaS-based membership management software provider YourMembership and tankless water heater manufacturer Eemax. He also leads its software and IT specialisation efforts.
AMP Capital has made a number of changes to its leadership team, designed to better support clients and the firm’s future growth in key asset classes and regions. Craig Keary, currently AMP Capital director of Australia and New Zealand, will become AMP Capital director, Asia Pacific. Keary will retain responsibility for Australia and New Zealand and assume leadership of AMP Capital’s operations in Beijing, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Marwyn Value Investors has launched a new management platform, Wilmcote Holdings, in partnership with Adrian Whitfield, who has been appointed as its chief executive officer. Whitfield recently spent nine years implementing a turnaround and growth strategy at Synthomer, the UK listed specialty polymer operator.   Over his nine year tenure, he more than doubled operating profits and increased Synthomer's market capitalisation from circa GBP300 million to over GBP800 million.
