KAP Group is growing its advisory capabilities with the hire of Erin Roeder as vice president.
This expansion will enable KAP to broaden the firm's reach while maintaining its client-focused approach.

FMO, the Dutch development bank, has appointed a new management board.
Jurgen Rigterink, currently chief investment officer (CIO), is to become chief risk and finance officer (CRFO). He will replace the current CRFO, Nico Pijl, who is due to retire on 1 January 2014. Linda Broekhuizen will succeed Rigterink as CIO.
The intended appointments will take place after informing the general meeting of shareholders and will be effective as of 1 January 2014.
Rigterink has been a member of the management board since 1 October, 2008. Before moving to FMO, he worked as chairman of the management board
Private equity firm Pharos Capital Group has hired Brett Jackson as a senior financial analyst in the firm’s Nashville office.
Jackson will be responsible for deal review, financial due diligence and financial modelling. Before coming to Pharos, he was an investment banking analyst at Stephens in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he worked on a variety of mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions across multiple industry verticals.

Venture capital fund manager Mercia Fund Management (MFM) has appointed Talon Golding to head up sales and investor relations.
Golding (pictured) will be responsible for the continued growth of funds under management whilst strengthening relationships with the increasing number of investors and their advisors.
Prior to joining MFM, Golding was sales manager at Scion Investment Group, leading the asset raising for its tax efficient investment offering. Before that he was a broker with Welbeck Wealth Management working directly with high net worth individuals.

Southport Lane, a New York-based private equity firm, has appointed Brandon Young as chief operating officer of its reinsurance holding company Southport Re and senior vice president of Southport Lane.
In this position, Young plays a key role in Southport Re's core business including executing and overseeing acquisitions, developing general business strategy and supporting large transactions. He reports to Glenn Weber, chief executive of Southport Re.
Young brings nearly 20 years of experience across the insurance and securities industries to Southport Re. Prior to joining the firm, Young served as vice president of global corporate development at ACE, where
Edward S Nadel is joining Lowenstein Sandler’s investment management group as senior counsel.
Nadel was previously general counsel and chief compliance officer at Star Mountain Capital and, prior to that, was the director of alternative investments at Credit Suisse.
At Lowenstein Sandler, he will counsel clients on fund formation and structuring, fund transactions, and regulatory and compliance matters.
At Credit Suisse, Nadel was responsible for the structuring and development of private equity funds, hedge funds, mutual funds, joint ventures, funds of funds and employee plans. He played a key role in structuring the spin-offs of GSO Capital Partners and

Des Quigley, former Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Ireland, has been appointed non-executive director.

Palatine Private Equity has made two new additions to its team with the appointment of Andy Strickland as Investment Manager and Ben Jones as Business Development Manager.
Strickland joins Palatine’s southern-based investment team from Clearwater Corporate Finance where he worked as an Assistant Director in the firm’s technology team. During his four years with Clearwater he worked on a number of domestic and international transactions including private equity backed buyouts, company disposals and asset sales. He is a qualified chartered accountant and has a degree in economics from Nottingham University.
