Sustainable aerosol spray tech company the Salford Valve Company (Salvalco) is raising new capital through private equity firm Growthdeck.
Founded in 2013, Salvalco was formed as a commercial development arm from the University of Salford that created a new eco-friendly aerosol technology, the Eco-Valve. The valve, protected by eight global patents, uses environmentally-friendly nitrogen as its propellant rather than the butane most commonly used at present. Hydrocarbon propellants like butane are a contributor to global warming.

Chicago-based private equity firm Frontenac has recapitalised Dealer Services Network (DSN), a technology-enabled platform that automates and streamlines the title, registration and compliance processes for mobility companies and consumers alike.

Carlyle has raised USD2.1 billion in equity capital for Fortitude Re from existing investors, including strategic co-investor T&D Insurance Group, underscoring their support for the strategy and Fortitude Re’s prospects.
Carlyle expects to contribute up to USD150 million from its balance sheet to this capital raise. The new capital will strengthen Fortitude Re’s position to pursue further growth and provide innovative solutions to the global insurance industry.

Convergent has approximately USD130 million assets under management (AUM). Convergent was founded by John P Stobbs CPA/PFS, Managing Member, and Jeannie Seabaugh Investment Advisor, Analyst and Managing Member. The entire Convergent team will be joining Mercer.

Grib brings to BVG over 15 years of experience in private equity, corporate M&A, and investment banking across sectors such as consumer, media, technology, sports, and entertainment.
Prior to joining BVG, Grib was a Principal at Acamar Partners, an investment group focused on consumer and retail verticals such as health and wellness, fitness, food and beverage, luxury goods, fashion and apparel, beauty and personal care, specialty retail, and restaurants.

Highvern has completed the acquisition of Noble Trust Company in Guernsey, further adding to its multi-jurisdictional private capital and corporate services offering.
The Guernsey office, which will rebrand to Highvern with immediate effect, will work closely with the group’s other teams in Jersey, Dublin and London in in delivering the company’s high standard of service to clients across its private wealth, corporate and fund administration propositions.
