JTC Group has made three senior appointments in its offices in Jersey, London and Guernsey.
Stuart Pinnington, previously managing director of TMF Group in Jersey, has been appointed group head of corporate services and sits on the JTC Group Holdings board.
Pinnington is a qualified solicitor who has practised as a lawyer in London, the British Virgin Islands and Jersey specialising in banking, asset finance and fund formation. He will be responsible for the development of the corporate business division across the expanding network of group offices and is based in Jersey.

Former UK science minister Ian Taylor has been appointed as the chair of the advisory board of venture capital firm Midven’s Rainbow Seed Fund (RSF).
Taylor (pictured) was a member of the UK Parliament for 23 years until he stood down in 2010, including serving as science minister from 1994 to 1997.
He is now executive chairman of LivingPlanIT SA which is working with the Technology Strategy Board to encourage smaller companies to access the Internet of Things. He also chairs the National Space Academy Steering Group.

Labautière joins K&L Gates from Allen & Overy, where he practiced for 15 years and contributed to the launch and development of its Paris corporate practice.

Financial services veteran Gary Smith has joined Custom House as a commercial director and is responsible for continuing Custom House growth ambitions on the West Coast, opening a San Francisco office, and ongoing business development.
He will report to Scott Price, head of aales for the Americas, who is located in the company’s US headquarters in Chicago.

Morgan chairs a number of private equity backed businesses in the B2B services and healthcare sectors in the UK and US, which include SME services, oil & gas sustainability, certification, compliance and learning & development.
He has worked in the legal and criminal justice system in outsourcing and previously he was executive director of Hays, a FTSE 100 services group.

New Enterprise Associates (NEA) has appointed Paul Palmieri, the founder and former chairman and chief executive of Millennial Media, as venture advisor.
