JTC Group, a multi-jurisdictional, independent provider of private client, corporate and fund services, has made two senior appointments in Jersey within its technology and marketing operations.
Adam Jeffries (pictured), who was previously global head of IT operations at Appleby, has joined as chief information officer and David Vieira, who was head of marketing at Jersey Finance, has been appointed group head of business development and marketing.
Jeffries, who has 16 years’ experience in the technology sector within the financial services industry, has been recruited to develop an IT strategy at the JTC Group. He will also head up
General Catalyst Partners has appointed Donald Fischer as its newest venture partner.
In this role, Fischer will identify and lead investments in early stage enterprise companies.
Fischer joins General Catalyst after five years at Greylock Partners where he most recently focused on leading investments in big data, open source, cloud, and other enterprise technology markets.

iNovia Capital, an early stage venture capital fund focused on digital media, SaaS, e-commerce and connected devices, has named principals Kevin Swan and Karamdeep Nijjar as partners at the firm.
Swan’s technical and operational background gives him strong expertise in the areas of SaaS, digital media and connected devices.
Swan has been involved with iNovia since 2010 when he was engaged as a venture partner and was instrumental in developing Fund III. He served as a director or observer on the boards of Mitre Media, Allocadia, Basis, Parent Media, Drivewyze and Growlabs.

Hamilton Lane, a private equity asset management firm, has appointed Mingchen Xia as principal on the fund investment team and Yen Li Chew as vice president in the business development group.
The new hires will be based in Hong Kong and will further strengthen the firm's presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

James Oussedik has joined Sidley Austin’s London office as counsel.
He will be a senior member of the firm’s investment funds practice, which is dedicated to structuring and advising investment funds and advisers.
Oussedik’s appointment follows that of Stephen Ross, who joined Sidley’s investment funds practice as partner earlier this year and heads Sidley’s London investment funds group.
Oussedik has significant experience in advising fund sponsors on the establishment and maintenance of investment funds and managed accounts, as well as in advising institutional investors in relation to proposed investments. He has represented a broad range of investment fund
Chris Kuenne, who founded digital marketing agency Rosetta in 1998 and sold it to Publicis Groupe in 2011 for USD575m, is retiring from the company to launch Rosemark, a private equity firm.
Kuenne (pictured) also intends to focus on his teaching of high-tech entrepreneurship at Princeton University.
In growing the company over 15 years, Kuenne created the first consulting-centred digital agency focused on personalised life cycle management
In his new role as founder and CEO of Rosemark Capital Group, Kuenne plans to bring both financial support and operational experience to the firms in which Rosemark will invest.

Ashton joins Palatine from Grant Thornton Corporate Finance where she worked for three years, initially in Manchester and then later in London focusing on specialist sectors.
She worked on a wide range of transactions including Edward Billingtons acquisition of Bar Foods, the sale of Electricity Network Solutions to the French group SPIE and the sale of The Mansfield Group to South African logistics group Bidvest.

British bank Aldermore has made three key appointments to its asset finance team.
Emma Irving joins Aldermore from BNP Paribas to become the new head of materials handling. She has over 15 years’ experience in the materials handling industry.
Nova Everidge joins the operational team from Close Asset Finance. She brings over 20 years of experience to the team, having previously worked at ING Lease and GE Capital. As head of new business origination, Everidge will lead the business’ pay out and sales support processes.
Hayley Pearson will become head of servicing and support, following an internal promotion.
Law firm K&L Gates has appointed Siew Kam Boon as a partner in its M&A and private equity practices.
Boon, who will work out of both K&L Gates’ Singapore and Shanghai offices, joins the firm from O’Melveny & Myers.

Bernard J (Barney) Guarnera has joined Centurion Resource Group (CRG) as a partner and member of their investment committee.
CRG is a private equity fund management group focused on the global mining sector.
Guarnera most recently served as non-executive chairman and senior associate at Behre Dolbear Group.
While he no longer has an operational role, Guarnera will continue to serve as a director on Behre Dolbear's board.
