Liederman joins K&L Gates from Arnold & Porter, where he served as head of the European corporate group. Boston as managing director and a member of the management committee with responsibility for leading the firm’s private equity fundraising business. Augentius Fund Administration has appointed Glyn Thomas as managing director of its Guernsey office. Thomas joined Augentius from PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior accountant seven years ago, working with the firm’s first private equity clients. He has a strong technology background and was heavily involved in the implementation of Sungard Investran, the accounting and reporting platform used within the business. Citigroup has appointed Sanjiv Sawhney as global head of fund services for Citi’s securities and fund services business. In this new position, Sawhney will provide leadership for Citi’s hedge fund, private equity and mutual fund administration businesses globally within Citi’s suite of investor services solutions. Sawhney will report to Neeraj Sahai, global head of Citi’s securities and fund services, and joins from JP Morgan. US Logistics, a wholly owned subsidiary of private equity consolidator Ranger International Services Group, has appointed Major General (US Army, retired) Chuck Swannack as its chief operating officer. US Logistics is a government outsourcing contractor specialising in tactical vehicle overhauls and repairs, technical staffing, base logistics, and aircraft technical services. General Swannack retired from the US Army in 2005 after 33 years of service, culminating as the Commander of the fabled 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Neuberger Berman has named William A. Arnold chief financial officer, effective in early March. Arnold, who has 24 years of corporate finance experience in asset management and financial services, comes to Neuberger Berman from Citigroup. Arnold will report to George Walker, chairman and chief executive officer.
